Painting in oils is Elida Luciarte’s passion and in recent years experimentation has allowed her to develop a new technique and distinctive style to create these highly charged compositions of light and colour. Her paintings for this exhibition are populated by individuals and groups who all seem to be part of an ongoing narrative, and can be seen simply enjoying day-to-day life, leisure and interaction.
