Otto Boron

Adams + Boron: Rural

November 8 - 22

Otto Boron migrated to Australia from Fiume, Italy in 1959. By 1967 Otto was supporting himself as a scenic artist for the television industry, gleaning much practical knowledge about painting materials and technique, preparing the way for the development of his own unique chisel-edged impasto style and a supreme confidence with colour.

His achievements as an artist have now been recognised by artists, critics and collectors alike. Art prizes and commendations include: ‘The Omega Contemporary Award’, ‘Acquisitive Stanthorpe Regional Gallery Award’, Queensland, and twice being awarded the Victorian Artists Society ‘Artist of the Year’.
