Philip Adams

Adams + Boron: Rural

November 8 - 22

When we look at the latest fragmented landscape paintings by Philip Adams, there is a point when the eye is held captive, drawn into a warp in time and space. Something has shifted and we search for Adams’ visual clues. There is a sense of revisiting the same scene at a later time, as Adams allows us to simultaneously experience differing effects of atmosphere, light and nature.

Philip Adams is represented in Ballarat Regional Gallery, Maryborough Regional Gallery, as well as a number of private and corporate collections including Crown Casino Melbourne and Reserve Bank of Australia, New York.

Philip will also be joined by two of his daughters in this exhibition:
Turiya Orme, blown glass and Amilia Adams, jewellery.
