MONO explores unique qualities that can only be achieved using the monotype process: a sublime hybrid of painting and print. The exhibition presents exciting and diverse works by nine contemporary Australian printmakers.

TONY AMENEIRO, KIM BARTER, ANITA IACOVELLA, BRUNO LETI, DEBRA LUCCIO, JANICE McBRIDE, JAMES PASAKOS, LINDA ROBERTSON and WAYNE VINEY.

MONO was launched by Dr. Thomas A. Middlemost, Art Curator, Charles Sturt University Art Collection and has attracted great response from visitors to the show.

Geelong Picture Framers

Geelong Picture Framers at Metropolis Gallery

Geelong Picture Framers is a busy custom-framing workshop located upstairs at Metropolis Gallery. We specialise in the conservation framing of paintings and works on paper, sentimental family treasures and memorabilia. We stretch canvases and also frame everything from posters and paintings to football jumpers and other 3D objects.

We’ll help select a frame that not only enhances the work, but it’s important that the frame, matt, backing board and glass will help to preserve it for many years to come.

Geelong Picture Framers turn your pictures into art!
