This group exhibition will delight those with a love of contemporary nostalgia with paintings and drawings by Peter Dawson, linocuts and gouache paintings by Debbie Mourtzios and paintings by Joanne Kemerer.

ARTIST TALKS: 2pm this Saturday

If you missed the great opening night for IN RETROSPECT last Saturday or if you want to catch up with the 3 artists again, then GOOD NEWS: Peter Dawson and Debbie Mourtzios will be at Metropolis Gallery at 2pm this Saturday 23rd July to discuss their inspiration and the techniques employed in their artworks for this exhibition. Joanne Kemerer will also be on hand to have a chat.

Steve Salo - finalist in
The Salon des Refuses

Steve Salo's Archibald Prize entry pictured left Simon Laherty, actor, Back to Back Theatre has been selected for The Salon des Refusés exhibition at the S.H. Ervin Gallery, the ‘alternative’ exhibition selected from the many works not chosen as finalists for the official Archibald exhibition.

Steve is an incredibly focussed and hard working artist and we congratulate him on this great recognition of his progress as a portrait artist.
